About The Fishin Fever Show.
Fishin Fever started on one radio station, WDMS and one TV station, WABG in my hometown of Greenville, MS.
As the show became popular, I could see where my idea was going to turn into a greater one. So I ventured down in to AR and LA, with my demo in hand, simply driving up to radio stations and saying “give me a shot”
That was in 1989. It wasn’t easy then and it isn’t easy now. But Daddy always told me “anything worth having won’t come easy”
Like any other business Fishin Fever had its bad times and I ventured into other businesses to keep it floating. It was my dream and I always managed to keep it alive.
Now, thanks to you the listeners and sponsors, the Fishin Fever Show broadcasts over 10 states!
My goal is for my show to educational and entertaining at the same time, but more than anything appealing to kids to get them hooked on fishing before they get hooked on drugs!

I was born and raised on the Mississippi River in Greenville MS.
I can not ever remember a time when my Dad, (My Hero) and I weren’t on a lake in the Mississippi Delta or on the River fishing. . By the time I was 7 years old he had taught me to navigate the MS River. I can remember him being in trouble with my Mom for having me on the River when she thought I was too young to be out there!
Guys like Ray Scott, Bill Dance, Paul Elias, Rick Clunn, Guy Akers, and Guido Hibbdon would be the ones who planted the seed for me in professional fishing and inspired me to make my living fishing.
From then till now, the greatest accomplishment and honor has been to fish with the Top Touring Pro’s in the nation from 1993 until 1998 on the B.A.S.S. Pro Tour, and again from 2005-2008. At that point I realized I wanted to be more into the broadcasting and promotion end of fishing.
What keeps me going? My loving wife Beverly, my precious memories of my Mom and Dad, the love of Fishing, and above all God’s Amazing Grace.
